a final afternoon of 13 solos
singular events using body/space/time/frame
rolling one into the other
audience scattered, moved, intimately traced, placed, invited
myself affected, part of each page
each performer was revealed in his/her process and
moment of presentation
Writing on the Body minor module cp202 leaves the studio
and enters a documenting process
And this weblog was one way to explore the possiblities
of documentation
to create a dialogue between moving and writing,
making and thinking, ourselves and the world,
but it also
revealed confusion, a resistance to,
a misunderstanding, even a fear of writing.
It confronted us with the difficulty of a consistent collective
gathering of reflective experience
beyond the studio hours together.
Understanding that words can record, remind, reveal,
re-invent, reflect, provoke, inspire action
and extend beyond our physical presence
In this month of documentation
this weblog is still open
a potential event and forum
